VetMedInfo is a collaborative effort of the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Agricultural Library (NAL), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the United States Agricultural Information Network (USAIN) and the Medical Library Association’s Veterinary Medical Library Section to respond to the information needs of the veterinary medicine practitioners in clinical settings.

The VetMedInfo portal contains links to information resources, primarily those developed by NLM, NAL, professional organizations representing veterinary medical practice, and schools of veterinary medicine and their libraries covering all aspects of small and large animal care. The collaborating organizations oversee the ongoing development of the site’s design and content through an editorial board comprised of representatives of each organization and the user community.
